Scientific Communications

Endometriosis in itself can be overwhelming, and the name of the disease alone triggers a kneejerk ‘what?’ reaction almost instantly for anyone who hasn’t heard of it before. On top of that, the scientific jargon that comes with endo can be equally as confusing.

The Endo Hub provides scientific communication blogs that aim to clarify and define the scientific jargon used in endometriosis so that those living with, or know someone living with the disease can become more knowledgeable about the disease, and feel less intimidated at doctors appointments.

As endometriosis involves many bodily systems, The Endo Hub, provides scientific blogs that encompass various branches of biology, including:

Immunology: the study of the immune system.

Neuroscience: the study of the nervous system.

Pharmacology: the study of drugs and how drugs affect the body.

Scientific communication plays a key role in advocacy and awareness for endometriosis- the more people that know about it, the sooner we can work towards better treatments for the disease!
